Integrate ScreenSpace with Marketo to capture and nurture leads within your marketing automation platform. This integration helps you create targeted marketing campaigns by efficiently capturing lead information and segmenting it within Marketo.

Connect Marketo to Your Workspace

ScreenSpace uses your Munchkin ID, Client ID, and Client Secret to securely connect your workspace with a Marketo account. The below guide will help you create a custom service that ScreenSpace can use and extracting the info required to make a secure connection.

1. Create Custom Service

Create a custom service inside your Marketo account.

Create API Role

  1. Click Admin

  2. Select Users & Roles under Security

  3. Select the Roles tab

  4. Click New Role with the following details:

    1. Name: "API User"

    2. Enable Access API

  5. Click Create

Create API Only User

  1. Click Admin

  2. Select Users & Roles under Security

  3. Click Invite New User with the following details:

    1. Info

      1. Email: Any Email (ie screenpace@yourdomain.com)

      2. First Name: ScreenSpace

      3. Last Name: API User

      4. Reason: ScreenSpace API Access

    2. Permissions

      1. Select API User

      2. Enable API Only

  4. Click Next and then Send

Create Custom Service

  1. Click Admin

  2. Select Launch Point under Integration

  3. Select New Service with the following Info

    1. Display Name: My ScreenSpace Service

    2. Service: Custom

    3. Description: ScreenSpace API Access

    4. API Only User: [Select the email you used earlier]

  4. Click Create

2. Enter Required Info

We'll now grab the required authorization details to create a secure connection.

Enter Munchkin ID

  1. Click Admin

  2. Select Munchkin under Integrations

  3. Copy Munchkin Account ID and paste inside the ScreenSpace authorization window

  4. Click

Enter Client ID & Secret

  1. Click Admin

  2. Select Launch Point under Integration

  3. Click View Details on your new service called My ScreenSpace Service

  4. Copy the Client ID and paste inside the ScreenSpace authorization window

  5. Copy the Client Secret and paste inside the ScreenSpace authorization window

Boom! You're now ready to link your Marketo forms to ScreenSpace.

Link Your Marketo Form to ScreenSpace

Creating a native form is simple and can be done through the Form Creator page inside your Workspace settings.

  1. Create a new ScreenSpace form and select Marketo as the connected integration.

  2. Select an existing Marketo form.

  3. Map the ScreenSpace fields (on the left) with your Marketo fields (on the right).

  4. Click Save to save your form

  5. Test your integration by submitting your form right inside the Story's Visual Designer and then view your most recent contact in your Marketo All People list.


What Happens When a Marketo Form is Submitted

  • ScreenSpace submits your form using your the form data provided by your lead

  • Any Smart Campaign Flow Actions that have been defined will be triggered.

What You Can Do Inside Marketo

Integrating ScreenSpace with Marketo enables seamless lead capture and comprehensive engagement tracking. Once a prospect submits a form, you can take several actions within Marketo to nurture and convert these leads effectively.
