Getting Started
Click Create Items in the Toolbar and select Media
Select your image or video, or upload a new one
Reposition the object anywhere in the Canvas. Use the Depth slider under Style to adjust the position in 3D space.
Media Types
Media objects can include various types of content such as images, videos, and Lottie animations. Each media type adds unique value to your Story and can be used to create a more engaging and dynamic experience for your audience.

Images
Benefits: Images can visually represent concepts or features, making it easier for your audience to grasp complex ideas quickly. They add visual appeal and can break up text to keep your audience engaged.
When to Use: Use images to illustrate points, provide visual examples, or enhance the overall aesthetic of your Story.
Videos
Benefits: Videos offer dynamic, engaging content that can demonstrate features or processes in action. They can bring your Story to life and provide a deeper understanding of your product.
When to Use: Use videos to showcase features, provide tutorials, or share customer testimonials.
Lottie Animations
Benefits: Lottie animations are lightweight, scalable animations that add interactivity and visual interest to your Story. They can be used to illustrate features, add subtle motion, or enhance user engagement.

Media Labels
Description: Media Labels display text via a simple callout which can either trigger immediately or when the audience hovers over the Media object with their mouse or cursor.
When to Use: Perfect for providing quick tips, brief descriptions, or highlighting content at a glance. Can also be used to grab your audience's attention.
Setting Up Labels
Toggle the Label on in your Media object's Label settings and enter your desired text
Set visibility to Always if you prefer to have the Label pop-up without requiring a hover action
Adjust the Label position if needed
Click off of the settings window to preview your Label

Media object Actions enhance the interactivity of your Stories by triggering specific responses when a Media object is clicked. Opening a StoryPoint
Description: This action opens a StoryPoint, providing additional information within your Story.

How to Trigger a StoryPoint
Create a StoryPoint with the relevant content.
Position that StoryPoint near the Media object
Set the StoryPoint style to Tooltip and toggle on Invisibility to hide the StoryPoint – you can preview this in preview mode
Select the Media object and choose the Action to open the StoryPoint.
Best Practices
Ensure the StoryPoint content is directly related to the Media object.
Keep the StoryPoint concise to maintain audience engagement.
Use visuals and media within the StoryPoint to enhance understanding.
We recommend contextualizing case studies by including an image of a customer which opens a StoryPoint containing a video testimonial or case study.
Navigating to Another Scene
Description: This action navigates the audience to a different scene within your Story.
When to Use: Ideal for guiding users through a step-by-step product demonstration or when showcasing relevant content.
How to Jump to a New Scene
Define the target scene you want to navigate to.
Select the Media object and choose Jump to Scene as the Action
Link the Media object to the desired scene.
For the transition, select Quick Cut when navigating between two consecutive screens in a tour. Select Fade to Color when jumping to a new area of your product, or an entirely different scene.

Obtain the URL of the external webpage.
Select the Media object and choose the Action to link externally.
